Introduction
Manual data entry can slow down operations and lead to errors. In two temporary roles, I developed VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks, significantly improving productivity and accuracy. Later, at Kroger, I faced a similar issue entering 150 seasonal distributions into the Drug/GM ordering system. Each entry took 5 minutes, totaling 12.5 hours for a new temp worker, compared to 7.5 hours for experienced staff.
The Solution: VBA Macros
I created VBA macros to address these inefficiencies. Key features included:
